Standard Operating Procedure of Computer Labs & Internet Services Committee
The Computer Labs and Internet Services Committee is responsible for the functioning and maintenance of computer labs and internet services of the Centre. The committee is also responsible for maintaining personal computers allotted to the faculty members and non-teaching staff. The following standard procedure has been adopted for smooth functioning of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) system of the Centre:
For any issue related to the functioning of personal computers or disruption in internet services, the faculty members/non-teaching staff may send an email to ict.amucjm@gmail.com
The Faculty In-Charge of the committee is handling the email account. The emails received are further sent to the concerned committee member with proper instructions for the closure of the issue.
The Faculty In-Charge also keeps track of all the ongoing ICT-related issues and tries to resolve them in the minimum possible time.
The Centre has two computer labs named Computer Lab-I and Computer Lab-II. The Computer Lab-I is located in Academic Block-I, and the Computer Lab-II is situated in New Academic Block.
In both the labs, other facilities like Projector, Projector Screen, White Board, Notice Board are installed for conducting practical classes or viva of computer-related subjects.
The students can also use the computer labs for learning purposes on all working days during the specified timings.
The Faculty In-Charge appointed by the Director, heads the committee.
The Public Relations Office is responsible for collection and dissemination of information about the various programs, events, seminars/webinars, conferences, and achievements of faculty and students in print and digital media. The office also uploads notifications and circulars of the Centre on the website. The following standard procedure is adopted for reporting and website uploading purposes:
1. The concerned department or faculty member or student inform the Public Relations Office about the event or program being organized by them by submitting a preliminary report of the event through email @ pro.amucjm@gmail.com.
2. The Public Relations Office process the report and upload the same on the website of the Centre under the concerned department.
3. For the events organized by the Director of the Centre like Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Sir Syed Day and other similar events, the reports are prepared by the Public Relations Office itself.
4. The notices and circulars issued by the Director of the Centre are uploaded to the website once being shared by the Director's Office.
5. The notices and circulars issued by other offices like Course Coordinator, Provost, Proctor, Examination, Finance, etc. are uploaded with the consent of the Director.
The Public Relations Office is headed by Public Relations Officer appointed by the Director of the Centre.
Standard Operating Procedure of the Office of Assistant DSW
The Office of Assistant DSW, AMU Centre, Murshidabad facilitates students in their scholarship applications. Updates about various scholarships are provided through timely notifications. Students applying for various scholarships get support in document processing and verification.

1. Advertisement made by Central and State Governments with last date of application.
2. Office of Assistant DSW circulates the advertisement in the three departments of the Centre for the information of all the students.
3. Students are asked to fill the application form online and submit the hard copy of the same in the Office of Assistant DSW for verification.
4. The Dealing Assistant of the Office verifies all the documents with the uploaded documents and the Assistant DSW give the online verification of the application.
5. The scholarships are awarded by the respective governments.
