• Orientation program on Jawaharlal Nehru

In each academic year, a month long Orientation programme on Jawaharlal Nehru was organized for graduate, post- graduate and research students. Nearly hundred students attended these programmes annually. Eminent scholars from AMU and other places were invited to deliver lectures.

• Minor Research Programs

The Director got the approval of the V.C. to invite minor research projects from seventeen faculty members from the Department of Political Science. The teachers were requested to submit their research papers by 31 March, 2012. The V.C. had also approved the payment of Rs. 10,000 as honorarium to these teachers. Till this date all teachers, except five have submitted their papers. The Director plans to publish these papers in the form of a book by year end.
