PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)
- PSO1: To create awareness among the prospective teachers related to child’s developmental psychology and individual differences.
- PSO2: To develop an understanding of the various theories and principles of learning.
- PSO3: To familiarize the interdisciplinary analysis of concepts, ideas and concerns of the society and appreciate its diversity.
- PSO4: To inculcate scientific temperament, democratic outlook and human values that are fundamental to living in harmony and social progress such as respect, empathy, equality, solidarity and critical thinking.
- PSO5: To acquaint the prospective teachers with the problems of primary education and evaluation in an integrated way.
- PSO6: To encourage the prospective teachers to give conscientious direction to their lives through personal hygiene and the concept of mental health.
- PSO7: To equip the prospective teachers with the theoretical knowledge of the taxonomy of educational objectives, micro-teaching and macro teaching.
- PSO8: To sensitize the prospective teachers towards the needs of the emerging Indian society.
- PSO9: To train the prospective teachers in global citizenship which aims to be transformative, building the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to enable them to contribute to a more inclusive, just and peaceful world.
- PSO10: To provide hands-on experience in various socially useful productive work namely interior designing and decoration, collage making, art designing, gardening and tailoring etc.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (POs)
The following are the programme outcomes of the aforementioned programme:
- PO1: To implement lifelong learning among learners through self-paced and self-directed learning aimed at personal development and adapting to changing demands of society.
- PO2: To provide the
essential knowledge of the psychology of the learner, their diverse needs,
human behavior, developmental aspects of a learner with reference to their socio-economic and cultural context. - PO3: To equip learners with the knowledge of curriculum construction, evaluation techniques, administration and supervision.
- PO4: To inspire learners to be sensitive to the current problems and perspectives of education in order to mobilize them to find creative solutions.
- PO5: To accentuate the proficiency required to be effective learners by synchronizing theory and practices. For example Educational technology, computer education, communication skills etc.
- PO6: To acquaint the knowledge of curricular objectives with emphasis on foundations and evaluation of curriculum in the light of emerging issues and needs of the present scenario.
- PO7: To stimulate the initial spurt of learners in appreciating and speculating the concept of human rights, national values, moral-ethical values, sustainable development, historical, philosophical and sociological perspective of education and the zeal for social reconstruction.
