Azra Musavi has a Masters & MPhil. in Economics, & PhD. in Sociology. She has ten years of experience of teaching core courses and supervising PhD scholars in Economics as well as Women's Studies. She has been working at the Advanced Centre for Women's Studies since 2016. Azra has been teaching papers on Economy, Environment & Research Methodology at undergraduate & post graduate levels in Women's Studies. She has been actively engaged  in interdisciplinary research. Three of her students have been awarded PhD. in Economics & one in Women's Studies. She has also supervised two PDFs in Women's Studies. Azra has implemented  Major Research Projects funded by UGC, MoEF&CC, USFWS & UPFD - World Bank. She has completed 08 Major Projects & has 02 ongoing Projects. Her research is on resource economics, indigenous & marginalised communities. She has published several papers in peer reviewed journals and also authored one book & edited three books.
