Suheba Khan is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. India. Gold medalist in women’s studies at master’s level, Suheba Khan has UGC-NET JRF in women’s studies. She has submitted her Ph.D. thesis on the topic “The Failed Feminism of Contemporary TV Advertisements in India”.

Her area of expertise revolves around gender and media, portrayal of women in media, feminism and its ideologies and also various concepts of women’s studies. An active scholar in her area interested area of research, Suheba Khan has multiple research papers published under her name.

Suheba Khan teaches papers related to women’s studies concepts, historical aspects of women’s studies, gender violence, economic participation of women etc. at under-graduate level.
