Dr. Arshad Husain is working as an Associate
Professor in Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India since
last 27 years with specialization is Environmental Engineering. His research
interests include Water Treatment, Biological Wastewater Treatment Processes,
Anaerobic treatment & Advance Oxidation processes. His doctoral research
focused on removal of adsorbable organic halides (AOX) from Pulp & Paper
industry wastewater by using Advance Oxidation process in combination with
biological treatment. He had
organized various
International conferences in collaboration with University of Toledo, Ohio, USA, La Sierra University, USA and Asia
Pacific University, Thailand. He had been a member of Expert
Committee formed to evaluate Air Pollution Removal Stack Design for Bull’s
trench Kiln designated by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ministry of
Environment, Forest & Climate change, Govt. of India. He has published 52 research papers in International and Nationals
Journals and conference proceedings of repute.
