I received my Diploma in Electronics Engineering from the Electronics Engineering Section, University Women's Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 1979/80 with Honours' and also topped my class. I received my B. Sc. Engg. and M.Sc. Engg. degrees in Electrical Engineering (Low Current Stream), with 'Honours' from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 1983-84 and 1988, respectively. I joined the Electronics Engineering Section, University Women's Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University in 1986 as a Lecturer and subsequently promoted as Reader in 1997. I received my Ph. D. degree in Electronics Engineering in the area of secure communication circuits from the Department of Electronics Engineering, A. M. U. Aligarh, India in 2009. My teaching and research interest includes VLSI circuits and systems. I have published about fifteen technical papers in various National / International Conference Proceedings and International Journals viz., Arabian Journal of Science and Engineering, Active and Passive Electronic Devices. I am a reviewer of International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos. I have also reviewed papers for the International Conference on Multimedia, Signal Processing and Communication Technologies (IMPACT -11) Department of Electronics Engineering, A.M.U., Aligarh, 2011. I was the Food Warden of Sarojini Naidu Hall (S.N.Hall) for about seven years. I am currently working as Associate Professor in the Electronics Engineering Section, University Women's Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University. I am a life member of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, India, and Member of the IEEE.
