Dr. Md. Junaid has been working as Assistant Professor in Department of Law AMU Centre Murshidabad since 25th Feb. 2011. He has completed his LL.M in Labour Laws from Faculty of Law, AMU, Aligarh. He did his Ph.D. in Criminal Law on the topic "Speedy Trial in Criminal Justice system: An Appraisal" from Faculty of Law, AMU, Aligarh. His Thrust area is Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Jurisprudence, and Labour Law. His Articles and Research Papers have been published in various renowned journals including International Journal of Green and Sustainable Development and Aligarh Law Journal. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience in Law. He has served as Assistant Professor at Institute of Law and Research, Faridabad, Haryana. Apart from academics he has also performed various administrative functions. He has been Director- In-Charge of AMU Centre  Murshidabad for more than two years. He has been Member of Court, AMU, Aligarh and Member of Academic Council, AMU, Aligarh. Besides this, he is founding faculty member of the AMU Centre Murshidabad  and has contributed tremendously towards the establishment of the Centre. He has been Course Coordinator, Department of Law and General Warden of the Centre for more than four years. He has also practiced as Advocate at Delhi High Court for two years. He has been former member of Jharkhand Legal Service Authority (JHALSA). He has been Deputy Proctor and Assistant Dean Students' Welfare of AMU Centre Murshidabad and is presently serving as Provost of Hostel's, AMU Centre Murshidabad.
