Research Area: Metal cutting, Stir casting, Stir welding, Powder Metallurgy, Material Science, Metal & Polymer matrix nano-Composites. . Patents: Awarded: 01 Published in Patent Journal of India: 17 Research papers published/presented in journals/conferences: 83 Secured B.Sc.Engg.(Mech) in 1983, M.Sc.Engg (Ind & Prod) in 1987 and PhD in 2004 from Z.H.College of Engg. & Tech, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Joined teaching as a lecturer in University Polytechnic in 1984. Joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2010 as a Professor. Has keen interest to teach Manufacturing Engineering subjects to under-graduate and Post -graduate students. Currently, focusing his research in stir welding and the synthesis of mechanically alloyed nano metal powder, fabrication of metal & polymer matrix nano composites through solid as well as liquid routes.
