Dr. M. Uwais Ashraf is working as Assistant Professor in the department of Medicine. He did his MBBS from J N Medical College, AMU, Aligarh and subsequently completed MD (Medicine) from the same College. He has innate interest in research and development in Internal Medicine. He has many publications to his credit in various national and international journals of good repute. He is working as editor of two international journals and is a reviewer of many reputed journals including the Indian Heart Journal. He is currently working on a project on Plasmodium vivax malaria and Hepatitis in Dengue Fever. His thrust areas include gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Ashraf is also actively involved with many national bodies of Internal Medicine.
