Born at Aligarh, I had the opportunity of studying right from schooling to the higher education .i.e. PUC & PMC, BUMS and M.D. (Moalijat) from great Institution of learning which is known as Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. I have the privilege of having vast teaching experience in two disciplines i.e. 'Amraz-e-Niswan wa Atfal'(Gynaecology & Paediatrics). and Moalijat (Medicine).The most significant aspect of this attribute was composite department of Moalijat (Moalijat including Amraz-e-Niswan wa Atfal, and Ilmul Qabalat). Moreover, on many occasions I happen to be the alone teacher for imparting teaching and training in Amraz-e-Niswan wa Atfal and Ilmul Qabalat .Besides this I qualified the entrance test for admission in M.D. (Moalijat) two times. In view of the shortage of teachers I had to take up the responsibility of aforesaid subjects instead of taking admission in M.D. (Moalijat). After serving for about one and half year I again qualified for admission in MD (Moalijat) and completed this course accordingly in 1992. Soon after completing M.D. (Moalijat) I was selected as a teacher in 1993 since then I am continuing in various capacities. By now approximately 14 M.D. (Moalijat) students have supervised in the capacity of Co-Supervisor and Supervisor. About 32 papers and articles have been published in reputed journals such as Hamdard Medicus, Ancient Science of Life, Indian Journal of Traditional Knowledge, Hippocratic Journal of Unani Medicine. I have attended 31 national and 9 internal National seminars/ conferences /workshops. Besides this 56 Abstracts and 02 books have been published.If we take a cursory look on the topics decided to carry on the study by the M.D. (Moalijat) students they elucidate that it is an effort to strengthen the Unani System Medicine with modern advancement and to inculcate a passion amongst the students to fulfill the demand / necessity of the time.
