Dr. Mohammad Rashid holds masters in Ilmul Saidla from National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore. Presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Ilmul Saidla in Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He spent four years as an SRF and assisted in three projects as a co-principal investigator. His area of interest includes Standardization, Drug design & discovery, Formulation development and experimental research, Nanotechnology, Remodelling of classical dosage forms and pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic activity of herbal drugs. He has many publications in national and international journals, and three book chapters internationally.  His work is essential for advancing the understanding and application of Unani medicine. His research has the potential to improve the quality of life of many people by providing safe, effective, and scientifically validated Unani treatments. His research efforts are focused on bridging the gap between traditional Unani practices and modern scientific methodologies. By standardizing formulations, exploring innovative drug delivery systems, and investigating the pharmacological properties of herbal compounds, Dr. Rashid is working towards developing evidence-based Unani therapies that can benefit a wider population.
