Dr. Qazi Zaid Ahmad, currently working as Assistant Professor in Dept. of Saidla (Unani Pharmacy), Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), served as Incharge MBP at Hamdard Laboratories, New Delhi, India. He obtained BUMS, from AMU, MD from NIUM, Bangalore. He possesses experience of more than 10 years in academia, research, and the Unani Pharmaceutical Industry. His areas of interest involve Drug Design & Discovery, Formulation Development, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Data Management, and Experimental & Clinical Research. He has attended about 35 conferences/workshops / CME programs and 26 published research papers in National and International Journal. 

Research Projects:

A Herbal composition named FluNorm™ for treating viral infections” sponsored by EMR Division, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi

Redesigning of the Dosage form of Majoon Dabidul Ward and Majoon-e- Flasifa into Tablet form along with their Physicochemical and pharmacological evaluation, sponsored by CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.

Study of some compound drugs in experimentally induced hepatitis like condition to explore their protective, curative and regenerative potential; sponsored by CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
