Dr. Tauseef Ahmad was appointed PGT (Physics) in 2004. He obtained his Ph.D. Degree (Experimental Nuclear Physics) in 2008 from A.M.U., Aligarh. He has been teaching Physics to students of class XI and XII besides guiding MBBS and B.Tech. aspirants from a decade. He worked on the â??Study of some heavy ion induced reactions below 7 MeV/Aâ?? for his Ph.D. degree. Theories of pre-equilibrium decay were verified by his research group for proton and alpha induced reactions up to 15 MeV/nucleon. Recently, T. Ahmad and his co-workers have measured excitation functions and recoil range distributions for heavy ion beams at energies 5-8 MeV / nucleon. In order to supplement these results on-line measurements will be performed. Their results have been widely cited and published in the International Journals namely Physical Review C, The European Physical Journal A, , International Journal of Modern Physics E etc.
