Dr. Ahmad Fuzail Hashmi has been a distinguished faculty member in the University Polytechnic civil engineering section since 2019. He did B.Tech and M.Tech (Structural Engineeringfrom Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, and obtained Ph.D degree from the Department of Civil Engineering, AMU, Aligarh. His primary research focuses on sustainable concrete, exploring the long-term properties of cementitious materials, and advancing concrete technology. He has maintained a strong academic record, ranking among the top three students at M.Tech and B.Tech levels.

With a prolific portfolio, he has authored over 20 research articles, each featured in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and conferences indexed in SCI/Scopus. Noteworthy contributions grace renowned publications such as "Construction and Building Materials" (Elsevier), "Structures" (Elsevier), "Magazine of Concrete Research" (ICE), "Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering" (Springer), "IJST: Transactions of Civil Engineering" (Springer), and "Innovative Infrastructure Solutions" (Springer), among others. In addition to his publications, he holds a patent granted by the government of India. Dr. Hashmi has showcased his research on an international stage by presenting numerous scholarly papers at prestigious conferences spanning across India and overseas. Beyond his own research, he actively serves as a reviewer for various SCI-indexed journals.
