Dr. Raihan Raza has been teaching in the Department of English, AMU for over thirty seven years. She has also worked as an Associate Professor in Taibah University, Madinah Munawwarah (KSA). Her research/focus areas include Modern poetry, Postcolonial Studies, Translation Studies, and Neurolinguistics. She is especially interested in teaching Modern poetry. Most of her research papers have been published in refereed journals of international repute such as Indian Literature - Sahitya Akademi Bi-monthly Journal, The Journal of Indian Writing in English, Think India, etc. She was Deputy Coordinator of the UGC - DRS Project on Translation at the Department of English, AMU.
