Dr. Ansari is working as an Associate Professor of Chemical Technology (Polymers) in the Mechanical Engineering Section, University Polytechnic, Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Before joining AMU, he worked with Oxford Mouldings Private Limited (Ghaziabad). He did B. Tech. in Chemical Technology (Polymer) from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI, Kanpur) and post-graduation in Petrochemical Engineering from Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), AMU, Aligarh. 


He has published several research papers in reputed journals including Elsevier, Springer, Tailor and Francis, etc. He has also published two book chapters with reputed international publishers. In addition to this, he has published five patents. His patent work on "Water conservation" has been granted recently. Marquis has published his biography in the "Who is Who in the World 2016". 


In the year 2004, he introduced a full-time three-year “Plastic Technology” Diploma Engineering course at Mechanical Engineering, University Polytechnic. He developed Polymer Chemistry Lab, Plastic Processing Lab, and Polymer Testing Lab from the year 2004-2008. More than 60 Projects of the final year students have been completed till now under his guidance.


His area of interest includes Polymer Composites, 3D Printing, Polymer Surfactant Interaction, and Water and Energy conservation.
