Dr. Haque is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Protection at Aligarh Muslim University. He did his B. Sc., M. Sc. (Ag.) Plant Protection and Ph. D. (Ag.) Plant Pathology & Nematology from AMU, Aligarh and possesses ten years of teaching and research experience in the area of plant pathology and nematology. He is ICAR-NET qualified and has contributed over 150 research publications including 12 books, 34 research papers, 58 research articles and 55 abstracts, some presented in conferences and symposiums. His work is cited more than 500 times (h-13 & i10-14). He is also a reviewer of 25 internationally reputed journals, Co-PI of two major international collaborative research projects amounting to 20.03 Lacs, Course Coordinator of an ICAR-sponsored short course and guided 07 Masters’ Thesis. He was conferred with the Sir Syed Ahmad Khan Memorial Award from AMU for his outstanding contribution to academic research. He has worked as Research Scientist at PI Industries, Fellow at NIF-India, Senior Research Fellow at NBAIM, Mau, India; Research Associate at NIPHM, Hyderabad. His research focuses on managing plant pathogens by integrating basic and applied science.
