ABOUT THE TRAINING AND PLACEMENT OFFICE (GENERAL)
The Training and Placement Office (General) at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh was established in March 2012, headed by Mr Saad Hameed, with the aim of providing placements and fostering corporate connections for the university's students. The objective of the cell is to familiarize students with job opportunities and assist them in securing employment. Over the past ten years, the Training & Placement Office (General) has successfully organized various, workshops, counselling programs, events on personality development, job fairs and placed students from various courses and has hosted renowned multinational corporations from sectors such as Social Services, Information Technology, Manufacturing, ITES, Media, Services, Banking & Finance, Law, and more.
Furthermore, the Training & Placement Office (General) is responsible for overseeing campus placements for non-engineering courses at the university. It collaborates with the respective departmental Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) to ensure smooth placement processes and manage related activities.
At our Training and Placement Office, we believe in empowering students and helping them bridge the gap between academia and industry. We understand that education is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about gaining practical skills and securing meaningful employment opportunities.
