Dr. Mumtaz Riyasat completed her early education in Rampur (U.P.). She had obtained Degrees of B.Sc. (Hons.) (2009), M.Sc. (2011), M.Phil. (2013) and Ph.D. (2016) in Mathematics from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Later, she pursued the prestigious Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) from National Board of Higher Mathematics in the year 2017. She maintained first class throughout her educational career and awarded the Mumtaz Jahan Baji Begum Memorial Award for securing highest marks in B.Sc. and has also obtained best thesis award. She started her teaching career at ZHCET, AMU in 2020 and is teaching graduate level courses. She is actively engaged in research activities. Her research interest includes Applicable Analysis, Special Functions and its allied topics. She has published more than 30 research papers in International journals of repute like Reports on Mathematical Physics, Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, Applied Mathematics and Computation, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, Filomat, Georgian Mathematical Journal, Glasnik Mathematicki, Symmetry, AIMS Mathematics, Mathematics, RACSAM, TWMS Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics, Bulliten of Iranian Mathematical Society.
