Research
Interest: Dr. Mohd Sajid Khan worked on natural and synthetic serine/cysteine/aspartic protease
inhibitors, their inhibition kinetics, and thermodynamics. He has also been involved in the synthesis of desired sized inorganic
(such as gold, silver, selenium, and zinc) nanoparticles using different
anticancer enzymes/proteins to use them as drug delivery systems to deliver FDA approved anticancer drugs such as
Methotrexate, Cisplatin, Doxorubicin, and many more to different types of cancer
cells. Further, these delivery systems are modified as theranostics. He has
also been involved in the designing of anti-diabetic tri-peptides.
