Presently working as a Professor in the Department of Business Administration at AMU where he has served as the Dean, Faculty of Management Studies & Research and Chairperson of the Department. 

With graduation in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Industrial Engineering, Jamal has earned PhD in Business Administration from AMU. His teaching and research interests include Quantitative Methods, Supply Chain Management,  Operations Management, Research Methodology, and Total Quality Management. He has presented and published papers in the related subjects at national and international levels.
