Dr. Saif Ullah Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Environmental section, Department of Civil Engineering, ZHCET, A.M.U., Aligarh since last more than 7 years. He did his B.Tech (Civil Engg), M. Tech(Environmental Engg) and PhD in Civil Engineering from A.M.U. He was awarded with National level CSIR SRF Fellowship and TEQIP research assistantship for pursuing his Doctorial studies. He has been an active researcher and has more than 40 research papers/book chapters published in reputed high International journals mostly indexed in Web of science & Scopus, having Google Scholar Citations more that 1550 (i index 25; h index 19). Some of the publications in reputed journals include Water Science and Technology (IWA), Process safety and Environmental Protection, Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Cleaner Production, Science of the total environment, Journal of Molecular Liquids, Desalination and Water Treatment, International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry (Taylor & Francis), Water Environment Research(Willey), Environmental Science and Pollution Research(Springer), RSC advances, (Royal Society of Chemistry), Nanomaterials (MDPI). His specialized field of interest is water and wastewater treatment, Groundwater remediation using advanced treatment techniques incorporating Electrochemistry and Nanotechnology. He has supervised 03 M. Tech dissertations uptill now. He participitated at various academic events including various International Workshops, keynote lectures and conferences both at national as well as international level including Germany, Canada, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, etc. Besides, since last more than 3 years, he is also an active Program Officer at National Service Scheme (NSS, A.M.U., Aligarh) with the aim to create social awareness and actively engage in community service thus contributing to the development of society.
