Dr. Aiyaz Ahmad Khan is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University Centre Murshidabad, West Bengal since 01.09.2014. He has served three years as Senior Survey Associate in National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) and around ten months as Project Junior Consultant in National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA). He was awarded the PhD Degree from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He did M.Ed., B.Ed., MA (Economics), BA (Hons), and 10+2 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He qualified UGC-NET Examinations in December 2015. His areas of teaching are Education and the National Context, Pedagogy of Economics, Pedagogy of Hindi, Assessment for Learning. He has authored one book and three chapters. He has published 14 research papers in reputed journals. He has also served as Coordinator of Unit-B.Ed., Joint Coordinator of Reginal Centre for Distance Education, and Assistant Proctor at A.M.U. Centre Murshidabad.
