Prof Syeda Nuzhat Zeba is Dean, Faculty of Arts, AMU and is a Professor at the Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University. In her long career at AMU, first as a Researcher and later on as a Faculty, Prof Zeba has focussed her study on Modern British, American and Continental Drama, teaching a wide range of British and American texts of Drama and Poetry. Her interests and skills also lie in the field of Translation Studies, wherein several of her translation across Urdu and English have been published over the years. She has delivered talks at several national and international conferences, and also has several publications to her name in the form of articles, essays and books. Prof Zeba's experience cuts across fields of academia, literary and cultural spheres as well as administration. She has held several official positions such as Head of Department, Coordinator, Editor, Provost. As the current Dean, Faculty of Arts, she is engaged in multiple projects, of both academic and administrative nature.
