Mohammad Aslam has a doctorate in Public Administration. He is a recognised trainer for the DTS course of the TDP Programme, Training Division, and DoPT. He has over 17 years of work experience in academia, consulting, programme management and technical backstopping as a consultant and researcher in core government functions, including public service delivery, governmental training and administrative reforms. Aslam has also worked on research projects about Reforms in Public Sector Undertakings, Environment, Water Supply & Sanitation, and Regulatory Framework for using groundwater in India. He has been involved in the evaluation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes. His key strength is his intimate knowledge of how government works. He has successfully worked with senior civil servants and has adequate knowledge of the state of the art in the Governance and Public Management domain. He had also engaged in teaching as a guest faculty at the Institute of Secretariat Training And Management (ISTM), DoPT, Govt. of India to deliver lectures on Public Administration, Public Policy, and Sensitization of Government officials on Social, Economic and Educational conditions of Muslim Community in India to the CSS officers. He also takes training sessions on "Good Governnace", "Public Administration in the Age of AI", "Problem-Solving & Deicion-Making", and Strategic Management in the Public Sector Organisations. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in Public Administration at the College of Business Administration, University of Hail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
