Prof. Syed Tayyab Raza Naqvi is a professor of Theology at the Department of Shia Theology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has been appointed as professor of Theology in A.M.U. and later become Chairman of Shia Theology from 22 Feb 2021. His PhD is on the topic on ‘The Exegesis of Majma ul Bayan fi Tafsir al Qur’an of Shaikh Hasan al Tabarsi'. His thrust areas include Fiqh, Usul e Fiqh and Islamic Banking. Dr. Tayyab Raza has pursued his initial education from Damascus, Syria and later at Lucknow. He acted as the Nazim of Department of Shia Theology from 2009 to 2019.

He has delivered series of lectures in different Islamic centres of United States and published research papers in numerous National and International Journals. He has published Nine(09) books And seven (07) Chapters in Bookon varied themes of Theology.

Delivered Series of lectures in  USA on the Topic of “Ethic, Mankind, Unity, Peace and Harmonics 2015 2016,and 2017. These centres include Astana e Zehra, English Town. Masjid e Imam Ali, New Jersey. Al Ghadeer Foundation, Houston. Ahl e Bait Foundation, Houston. Al Mahdi Centre,Toronto, Canada.

He is presently undertaking a project of translation and exegesis of Majma ul Bayan Fi Tafsir al Quran of world-renowned scholar Shaikh Hasan al Tabarsi in ten volumes to be published from Lucknow soon. He is well known as Arabic and Persian Language’s.
