Dr Kiran Lata Chauhan joined this university in 1984 and was promoted as Reader (Now Ass.Prof.) in 1997. Her field of specialization in M.Sc. was Applied Phycology.She completed her Ph.D. in able guidance of Dr A.B. Gupta in the year 1981. She is teaching Algae, cytology and Taxonomy of Angiosperms at Undergraduate level. Taxonomy is one of the most interesting branches as one finds himself/herself close to nature. Teaching in this branch is incomplete without outdoor survey of Flora regularly, therefore the students find it very interesting when they go for survey. She has Published Eight Papers in various Journals. A few of these Journals are 1. Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences 2. Beit. Biol. Pflanzenfamilien (Germany) 3. Current Science (India)
