*I passed High School, Intermediate, B.A. (Hons) , M.A. (Urdu) with good divisions *got first position in M.A. (Urdu) and was awarded Gold Medal. *did Ph.D. on the topic "Important Women Novelists of Urdu Literature". *got published, the book entitled, "Urdu Adab ki Aham Khawateen Novel Nigar" in 1991, for which "U.P. Urdu Academy" award was given . *got published the same book in Pakistan too in 1995. *entered teaching profession first as Teacher at Seminar Secondary School, AMU, Aligarh in 1987 where I remained till 1992. *appointed as Lecturer (Urdu) in Women's College in the year 1992 and now Associate Professor of Urdu. *published many papers in reputed journals like Aajkal, Sherohikmat, Arts Faculty UrduJournal etc. *presented papers in various seminars held in Delhi, Hyderabad and AMU, Aligarh *quated by various scholars from the book in India and abroad too. *area of interest for me has been Urdu Fiction mostly, but I do have great test for UrduPoetry and so I have written various articles on poetry. *have been editor of Abdullah Hall magazine in the Year 1981 and supervised the Women's College Magazine in the year 2010. *have served as Warden of Abdullah hall, AMU for about eight years.
