Prof. M. Masoom Raza, Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University has been honored with the prestigious “Distinguished Teacher Award 2023” at the International Conference on “Recent Trends in Academic Libraries: Systems and Services” held at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad. The conference was held in collaboration with the “Library Association of Bihar” and the “Delhi Library Association.”

Prof. Raza delivered the keynote speech on “Artificial Intelligence: Boon or Bane for Libraries” and discussed the role of AI in libraries.

Prof Naushad Ali PM, Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) discussed the need for developing Open Education Resources (OER) in higher educational institutions at the International Conference of Open Education Resources at Manonmaniam Sundaranar (MS) University, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu where he also got the ‘best paper award’ for research on ‘An Assessment of Academic Stress and its Coping Mechanisms among Library and Information Science Students during COVID-19 Pandemic in India’.
