Department of Linguistics

Funds for day-to-day functioning of the department provided by the University administration. For organizing seminars, conferences, workshops, symposia etc. Department gets funding from agencies such as University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore (CIIL), Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), New Delhi.
