Dr. Zubair Shadab Khan, Associate Professor cum Deputy Director has been teaching Urdu as L¹, L² and L³ for over 17 years. His research/focus arias includes language studies, literary criticism, linguistics, language teaching and translation.

He has published more than two dozen research papers in various reputed Journals like 'Fikr-o-Tahqeeq', 'sher-o-Hikmat, Adab-o-Saqafat, 'Samkalin Bharatiya Sahitya', and 'discourse' etc. He has participated in various National and International Seminars/ Workshops Symposiums and presented papers / Prepared materials. He also organized more than four dozen workshops, Seminars and Conferences on various topics related to educational taxonomy, teaching, testing, evaluation, literary studies and so on. Dr. Khan has credited four books (i)Radio Nashriyat: Taareekh, Asnaaf aur Peshkash (ii) Urdu Language, Literature and Culture (English) and (iii) Zaban Shanasi (iv) Radio Television: Tareekh, Asnaf aur Peshkash. He has also developed qualitative material in Urdu on various topics related to teaching, learning and testing for other Universities.
