Key Function of UHS
Out Patient (OPD) & Indoor facilities for all current bonafide students of AMU & its maintained Institutions.
Indoor Patients are provided Clinical Care, medications basic laboratory facilities and meals advised by the doctors.
Sickness / fitness certificates are regularly issued.
Fitness certificates are issued to all new employees joining AMU or at the time of their confirmation.
Fitness Certificates are issued to a large no. of students applying for scholarships & Job opportunities in AMU/outside AMU.
Fitness Certificate to students for sports activities like Swimming, Hiking, Mountaineering etc. etc.
Medical cover on all major University events e.g. Entrance Test of different courses, meetings of University Court, Sir Syed day and major sports tournaments etc. etc.
Medical fitness certificates are issued to all students joining NCC & Physical Education Courses etc.
Management of round the clock Emergency.
OPD facility on all 365 days even on Sundays and holidays.
Ambulance facility for the sick students to transfer to JNMC Hospital, AMU.
Creating health awareness & providing Health Education/ Counselling as when required.
