I am Dr. Qazi Ehsan Ali, FRCP Edin, currently serving as Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, and Principal of Paramedical College, AMU. With over 30 years of teaching experience, I have dedicated my career to advancing medical education, research, and clinical practice.

I have been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, UK (2024), the ISA UP State Oration Award (2024), and the S. Radhakrishnan Distinguished Professor and Researcher Award (2023), certified by NITI Aayog. My academic contributions include establishing a Skill Lab for Airway Training at AMU, mentoring 19 theses, and co-supervising 12 others.

I have organized numerous academic events such as “Paramedcon” (2024), USG-Guided Cadaveric Workshops (2024), and CMEs on ventilatory strategies and ABG analysis. With 67 publications, including 25 in international journals, my research has been recognized globally, with citations in the American Society of Anaesthesiologists’ 2022 guidelines.

In addition to my academic role, I have served as an assessor for the NMC and NBE, contributing to the evaluation of medical colleges across India. My commitment to medical education, research, and clinical excellence continues to drive my professional endeavors.
