My current research interests centre in the field of Morphogenesis and Tissue Culture particularly the aspect of in vitro regeneration and micropropagation of important endangered medicinal and other economic plants. I continue to collaborate on projects aimed at application of in vitro techniques to plant improvement, and contribute to postgraduate teaching in Cytogenetics and Plant Biotechnology. A number of protocols emanated from Tissue Culture studies using different morphogenetic pathways in in vitro regeneration and multiplication of several medicinal and economic plants belonging to different categories have been developed.
