Dr. Mohd Shuaib Akhtar is a Guest Teacher (Mathematics) in the Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Mohammad Ashraf in the field of Derivations in Rings and Algebras from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. His thrust area is the study of derivations in rings and algebras.Thus far he has published a number of research papers in refereed journals of international repute, most of them are indexed in SCI, SCOPUS and UGC-CARE list, such as: Communications in Algebra, Quaestiones Mathematicae, Bulletin of Malaysian Mathematical Sciences and Society, Algebra Colloquium and Bulletin of the Iranian Mathematical Society etc. He has presented his research papers in various international conferences in India & abroad (University de Padova, Bressanone, Italy, Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul,Turkey).
