Er. Mohd. Gulam Waris Khan is working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Section, University Polytechnic (Boys), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India since 2015.

He has obtained B.Tech. (1st Division) in Chemical Technology (Plastic Technology) from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI) Kanpur and M.Tech. (1st Division With Honors) in Plastic Engineering from Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) Lucknow, Department of Chemical & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemical & Fertilizers, Government of India.

Er. Khan has more than 10 years working experience includes Teaching, Research and Industry in the field of Materials Science and Plastic Engineering.

His area of interest includes Materials Science, Plastic Engineering and Management & Entrepreneurship.

His areas of research are Polymer Composite & Nanocomposites, Plastic Waste Management and Recycling.

He is teaching different theory and laboratory subjects of Mechanical Engineering Section at Diploma Engineering level and B.Voc. & M.Voc. courses in Polymer & Coating Technology at Community College.

He has holding responsibilities of Assistant Superintendent of Exams, Tabulator, In Charge Practical Examination, Assistant Training & Placement Officer, Member of Discipline Committee and Admission Verifying Officer.

He has successfully guided about more than 10 projects of Diploma Engineering final year students.

He has published book chapters and research papers in journals and conferences. .

He has organized various innovative workshops and conferences at University Polytechnic, AMU, Aligarh.
