Mr Shamshad Ali received degree of Master of Technology with honors from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2000. Mr Ali received University Medal for standing first in M.Tech (Mech Engg) examination 2000.He is pursuing PhD from AMU, Aligarh as a teacher candidate.Mr Shamshad Ali developed an innovative solar electric vehicle with Mechanical Regenerative Braking System in 2000 under M.Tech dissertation work which was published in leading news papers. He developed an innovative Single Cylinder, Double Acting, Reciprocating Submersible Pump.He also developed an Elector- Mechanical Juicer Mixer Grinder. Mr Ali filed eleven patent applications including one provisional application. His eight innovative works have been patented by Indian Government. Mr Shamshad Ali received Daniyal Lateefi award 2000 from Jamia Urdu Aligarh for developing solar electric vehicle with Mechanical Regenerative Braking System and he also won second prize for presenting a research paper in Inter Polytechnic Seminar organized by S.G.S.J. Government Polytechnic Khurja, U.P. Sep 15, 2006.Mr Ali received honorarium from Director, Technical Education Uttar Pradesh for doing Excellent works in the year 1995 & 1999 during his service in Department of Technical Education,U.P. He has 41 publications.He presented 11 research papers in different seminar/conferences.He has about 35 years teaching experience and taught different classroom and laboratory subjects of Mechanical Engineering at Diploma level and he has two years teaching experience at undergraduate level.Mr Ali has one year administrative experience as Acting Head of Department at Government Polytechnic, Bijnor U.P. and served as member of different committees. He also has one year Industrial experience. Honourable Vice Chancellor presented him as a widely acclaimed faculty of AMU in his annual report presented at the occasion of 60th convocation on 16th February 2013. A project entitled Development of a Bicycle for Physically Challenged People is being carried out by Mr Ali which is funded by Mr Harish Jivaji, Chartered Engineer, Banglore, India. His research interests are Energy conservation, Manufacturing science and Nontraditional Machining Processes.
