The department has two dedicated cardiac operation theatres of which one is modular. Every year we do around 400 cases of cardiac, thoracic & vascular surgery .The department also has a dedicated pediatric cath lab under RBSK iniative where apart from cardiac interventions we also do peripheral vascular interventions. We have a simulation lab in Hospital where residents can learn vascular anastomosis and a dedicated endotrainer for learning video assisted thoracic surgery(VATS) without compromising the safety of patients.
