Skill Lab is there in our department with facility for online resources for certifiable skills for Interns.

Infrastructure

Space for Skill Lab and following equipments:

• Model of human skeleton

• Human Bone models

• Models of orthoses and prostheses

• Orthopaedic Implants and Instruments

• Specimens of bone tumors and bone diseases

• X-rays of bone diseases including trauma

• Computers / laptops

• Online skill & training resources

Module for certificate skills

The module for skill development for interns has been made. We have logbook for skill development with list of following certifiable procedural skills:

(1) Application of basic splints and slings

(2) Compression Bandages 

(3)Basic Fracture and dislocation Management

Schedule for conducting certifiable skill session

The schedule for training:

MBBS batch: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (9-11 am)

Interns: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday

The logbook is signed after completion of above skills with satisfactory level.
