1- Improving and strengthening the speciality clinics with the aim to make them independent super specialty department so that D.M. courses in Psycho-geriatric and child and adolescent psychiatry may be started in future.

2- Increasing community and outreach services: Department is in process to start few satellite clinics for providing psychiatric services to deprived sections of the society.

3- Development of advance research lab: Department is in process to establish an advance research laboratory so that quality research work may be done in the department.
