Dr. Suhail Akhtar has assumed the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of International Studies since 2017. His academic background is grounded in Russian Language and Literature, acquired at the Center of Russian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Dr. Akhtar's scholarly pursuits focus on Russian Linguistics and Semiotic Studies. Preceding his appointment at the Department of Foreign Languages, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Dr. Akhtar contributed to the academic landscape as a guest faculty at Jamia Millia Islamia and fulfilled the role of a Teaching Assistant at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Currently, he imparts erudition in Russian Linguistics and Literature to the department's undergraduate and postgraduate students.
