Dr. Sanaur Rehman currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India since 04 August, 2015.
He has obtained PhD (Thermal Engineering) from Mechanical Engineering Department, AMU in 2020. The Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) during research was awarded to him in 2014. He also got TEQUIP-II scholarship during research in 2014. He did M. Tech (Honours) in Thermal Sciences from ZHCET, AMU in 2010. He has got two prestigious university Gold Medals in M.Tech course. One Gold Medal was awarded at the Departmental level and another Gold Medal at the College level. He secured first position in M.Tech in College as well as in Department. He did Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from ZHCET, Aligarh Muslim University in 2008.
His thrust areas are Internal Combustion Engines, Combustion Engineering, Energy Conversion Systems. He has several research papers in International and national Journals and conferences. Currently he is developing and testing new innovative research facilities in the field of combustion systems such as High Pressure Constant Volume Combustion System for Conventional and Supercritical Fuel Sprays, Computerized Diesel Engine Test Rig, HSDI Turbocharged Diesel Engine Test Bed etc. He is the member of several professional bodies like Combustion Institute (USA)-India section, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International), American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Indian Society of Heat and Mass Transfer.
