The Department of Education at Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre, Kerala, organized its annual academic event, EDUCERE-2K25, at the Moot Court Hall, with the faculty members, students, and delegates from 17 institutions from across the country participating in the event.
In his inaugural address, the Director of the Centre, Dr Faisal K.P., emphasized the significance of such platforms in fostering critical thinking and academic excellence among students. "Events like EDUCERE are not just about academic presentations; they create opportunities for young minds to engage, reflect, and grow together in a collaborative environment," he stated.
The Course Coordinator, Dr Abdul Basith P.P., highlighted the value of academic interaction and collaborative learning.
Earlier, welcoming the guests and participants, the Convener of the programme, Dr Sabeena P.S., elaborated on the objectives of the programme.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr Shaamil Muhammed Iqbal, Student Convener of EDUCERE.

Students’ Induction Program at the Department of Education, AMU Centre Malappuram


Malappuram, March 1:  To welcome and prepare the newly admitted B. Ed. students for their new roles; an online 'Orientation Program' was organized at the Department of Education, AMU Centre Malappuram. The programme was held in the virtual mode to help keep students safe as a response to the Covid pandemic.

Dr Faisal K P (Director, Malappuram Centre) delivered the inaugural address, urging the students to excel in their studies and contribute to the rich tradition of Aligarh Muslim University.

Dr. Mohammed Basheer K, Coordinator, Department of Education University stressed on the need of developing practical skills and the requirement of dedication, discipline and determination to succeed. In his detailed departmental orientation, he advised students to make good use of the facilities that the university offers and urged them to be sincere and responsible.

The faculty members made the students familiar with the academic procedure and opportunities available to them.

Mr.Abdul Basith explained instructions regarding the School Intership Programme and examinations  while Dr. Syed Hayath Basha spoke on  NCTE frame work for
teacher Education.

Mr. Naseerali explained regarding various Departmental labs, research and extension facilities available in the Department.


Mrs. Sabeena PS enlightened the students regarding digital resources and library facilities in the department while Dr. Firoz Ahmad spoke about various clubs and their activities.

Later, students introduced themselves and interacted with faculty members.

Mr.Muhammed Haris.C, Staff Secretary welcomed the new entrants and   Ms. Sidra Shameem. Sstudent representative of second year B.Ed expressed the vote of thanks.
