Sharmin Khan is a graduate in Architecture from AMU, Aligarh and has obtained a Ph.D in Architecture, from AMU, Aligarh. Her research work is oriented towards the study and correlation of construction management issues with sustainable development. She has served as a faculty in Institute of Integral Technology, Lucknow and Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, before joining AMU as Lecturer in 2004. She has been actively involved in revision of course curriculum for the department of Architecture. The research areas of interest are Construction management, History and Sustainable Architecture. She has been engaged in teaching history of ancient Indian architecture and Western architecture for past few years. She has three books to her credit. The research papers have been presented at various conferences and published in journals and magazines.
