Professor Mohd Mohsin Khan is an academician, researcher, and administrator with almost three decades of experience in the higher education system. He served as the Chairman, Department of Commerce and Dean, Faculty of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He held the office of the Proctor of AMU for more than three years. Along with that, he also held various administrative positions during the service. He has been teaching at both undergraduate as well as postgraduate level. His area of specialization is entrepreneurship, banking and finance, Financial institutions & market. He has published many research papers along with some books and monograph.  He has attended/chaired numerous conferences, seminars, and other academic events at the national and international levels. He has guided 15 Ph.D. as yet, and 4 Ph.D. students are currently enrolled under his supervision. In addition to his teaching and administrative abilities, he completed an ICSSR sponsored research project (Major)

During his tenure as Chairman & Dean, he motivated faculties and initiated activities related to academics. At last, four workshops, one international conference, and one national seminar organized successfully in the Department of Commerce.

Being a sports enthusiast, he always plays an active role in the University Games Committee. He served as the President of the Swimming Club as well.
