Dr. Mohd Nasir Zamir Qureshi is a highly acclaimed academician, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Commerce and as the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Aligarh Muslim University. His research interests span across several areas including Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Insurance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Microfinance, and Environmental Sustainability. Professor Qureshi has made significant contributions to academia, having authored more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific articles in reputable international journals. His work has been widely recognized, with over 733 citations, an h-index of 7, and an i10-index of 7 according to Google Scholar. Professor Qureshi has members of prestigious bodies of Aligarh Muslim University, including the Executive Council (EC), AMU Court, Academic Council, and Finance Committee. In addition to his scholarly achievements, Professor Qureshi has held various administrative portfolios, demonstrating his leadership skills. These include serving as the Nodal Officer for NAAC, Course Coordinator for the Distance Education Centre, Program Officer for NSS, and Provost of Sir Ziauddin Hall. Furthermore, Professor Qureshi contributes to academic journals as a reviewer and editorial board member for the Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences (Emerald Publishing Limited) and the Amity Journal of Management Research. He also lends his expertise as a member of the Course Expert Committee on Sales Management (MVE-006) and Introduction to Management (MVE-005) for the Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sales Management (PGDPSM) at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in New Delhi. Through his diverse contributions in research, administration, and editorial roles, Professor Qureshi exemplifies a steadfast commitment to advancing knowledge and nurturing academic excellence in his field.
