Dr. Heena Parveen is currently working as Guest Faculty, in the Department of Home Science, AMU, Aligarh. She also worked as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at the Centre of Professional Courses (CPC), Aligarh Muslim University from 2023 to May 2025. Prior to this, she worked as a Visiting Faculty at CPC, AMU from 2020 to 2023, where she taught postgraduate students enrolled in the P.G. Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics. She also served as a Guest Faculty in the Department of Home Science, AMU from September 2019 to March 2020.She has been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Home Science from AMU in 2022, Her doctoral research focused on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM)—specifically its prevalence, associated risk factors, and impact on pregnancy outcomes. She earned her M.Sc. in Home Science from Aligarh Muslim University and her B.Sc. in Home Science with a specialization in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. She also holds the UGC-NET qualification in her field. In addition to her academic roles, she has presented and published research papers in recognized journals. She also served as a Resident Warden at Indira Gandhi. Hall, AMU from 2020 to 2025, demonstrating her commitment to student welfare and university life.
