Hostel Rules

• Students must occupy the rooms allotted to them for the session and no change of room shall be made without the permission of the Warden.

• All the students are expected to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner and not do anything that may disturb others at study or at work in the hostel.

• While checking in and out of the hostel premises, the residents must fill up the In-Out Register maintained by the warden.

• Before going homes, the hostellers will have to fill home going slip signed from the warden.

• During this ongoing Covid situation, no students will be allowed entry into hostel without a negative RT-PCR report. Student have to bring negative RT-PCR done within 72hours prior to arrival.

• Before vacating the hostel students have to fill vacating form and take clearance from provost office.

Strictly Forbidden

• Ragging in any form. Ragging is totally banned. Anyone indulging in ragging will face suspension/expulsion from hostel

• Possession or use of alcoholic beverages/addictive drugs/chewing tobacco/ cigarettes etc.

• Possession or use of electric stove, room heater or air blower.

• Any unauthorised person in hostel room.

• Any kind of violence.

Important Instructions

• Last entry time at evening in the hostels are as under :

    a) During Summer time   :  6:30 pm

    b)During Winter time       : 5:30 pm

• Student attendance Timing – 7.30pm to 8.30pm

• Hostlers will follow the timings of dining hall

• All complaints should be brought to the notice of the warden in writing.

• Warden can conduct surprise checks at any time.

• Violation of hostel rules or office orders/notices issued by the Provost/DSW is punishable.
