Report on Tiranga Rangoli Competition – 10th August 2025




Sarojini Naidu Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, organized a vibrant Tiranga Rangoli Competition on 10th August 2025 under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The event beautifully blended creativity with patriotism, as students showcased colourful and intricate rangoli designs celebrating the Indian tricolour.


The success of the event was greatly due to the visionary leadership and encouragement of Provost, Prof. Orus Ilyas, whose motivation inspired students to participate with enthusiasm and pride. Known for fostering both academic and creative excellence, she personally appreciated participants, adding warmth and value to the occasion.


The difficult task of judging the event was undertaken by Dr. Frah Ashher, whose fair and thoughtful evaluation was deeply appreciated by all.


Special thanks to the organizing committee led by Ms. Nazia Begum, Ms. Varisha and Ms. Aimen Faheem for their dedicated efforts in ensuring smooth execution. Students from diverse fields—Diploma, Engineering, MBA, Paramedical, Nursing, and others—participated with zeal, presenting vibrant artworks that attracted much admiration.


The competition not only highlighted artistic talent but also strengthened the spirit of unity and national pride within the hall.






Report on Tiranga Rakhi-Making Competition – 11th August 2025



Sarojini Naidu Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, organized a vibrant Tiranga Rakhi-Making Competition on 11th August 2025 under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The event was a perfect fusion of creativity and patriotism, with students presenting rakhis in diverse styles and materials, each inspired by the vibrant hues of the Indian tricolour.


It symbolizes not only the bond between siblings, but also our pledge to safeguard and honor our nation with the same devotion we show to our loved ones.


The event’s remarkable success reflected the visionary guidance and heartfelt encouragement of Provost, Prof. Orus Ilyas, whose motivation inspired students to join in with joy and pride known for fostering both academic and creative brilliance. She encouraged and congratulated the participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, and active involvement. You’re her contribution made the event vibrant, engaging, and truly memorable.


The fair judgment, encouragement, and thoughtful and deep guidance by Dr. Frah Ashher, on the theme have not only made this event successful but also inspired the participants to strive for excellence and shower the positive

Report on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Rally’ under Tiranga Yaatra Campaign 2025



On 13th August 2025, Sarojini Naidu Hall, Aligarh Muslim University proudly organized the Tiranga Rally under the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025. The rally was led by Provost Prof. Orus Ilyas and witnessed enthusiastic participation from wardens, staff members, and students.


Participants marched with the national flag held high, spreading the message of patriotism, unity, and the importance of hoisting the Tiranga in every home. The event created an atmosphere filled with national pride and inspired all to actively participate in the campaign.


The rally not only celebrated the spirit of Independence but also reinforced the commitment of Sarojini Naidu Hall to uphold and promote the values of national integrity and togetherness.







Report on ‘Tiranga Quiz Competition’ under Tiranga Yaatra Campaign 2025


As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025, Sarojini Naidu Hall, Aligarh Muslim University organised a Quiz Competition on the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The event aimed to enhance student's knowledge about the history, symbolism, and significance of the tricolour.


Students from various disciplines participated enthusiastically, answering questions on the evolution of the national flag, its design and colours, and key moments in India’s history.


The Provost, Prof. Orus Ilyas, motivated the students to participate wholeheartedly, emphasising the importance of understanding the nation’s heritage and values. The quiz was conducted online and encouraged learning in an engaging, competitive environment.


Winners were later felicitated during the Independence Day prize distribution ceremony on 15th August 2025. The event successfully combined education with patriotism, strengthening the spirit of unity among hall resident

Report on ‘79th Independence Day Celebrations’ under Tiranga Yaatra Campaign 2025


On 15th August 2025, Sarojini Naidu Hall, Aligarh Muslim University celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with immense zeal, patriotic fervour, and a spirit of togetherness. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony conducted by Prof. Orus Ilyas, Provost of SN Hall. As the tricolour unfurled gracefully against the morning sky, the atmosphere resonated with the national anthem sung in unison by Wardens, Students and Staff members. The fluttering flag served as a reminder of the sacrifices made for India’s independence and the responsibility of every citizen to uphold the nation’s ideals.


Following the ceremony, a prize distribution programme was held to honour the winners of various competitions organized under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025. Students who excelled in the Tiranga Rangoli Making, Tiranga Rakhi Making, and Quiz Competition were felicitated for their creativity, knowledge, and enthusiastic participation.


In her address, Prof. Orus Ilyas inspired the students to cherish the hard-earned freedom of the nation, uphold democratic values, remain united, and contribute meaningfully to the country’s progress. The event reflected the strong patriotic spirit of the hall and strengthened the sense of belonging among its residents.


The day’s celebration was a fitting conclusion to the five-day Har Ghar Tiranga festivities, leaving behind memories of unity, pride, and national commitment.
